Our Torrance office has a private, indoor pool where we offer Aquatic Therapy. The buoyancy of the water reduces the weight patients put on injured limbs and joints, and the water offers resistance used for strengthening muscles during rehabilitation.

Erin was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas and received her BS in Exercise Science at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO then went on to Physical Therapy School at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles. While at the Mount, she did clinical work in Arizona, working with professional athletes. She recently received her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification last year and she is ASTYM certified. Erin’s hobbies include beach volleyball, swimming, watching sports and playing with her cat.
Isaac is a NorCal native that graduated from UCLA and then completed his doctoral training in physical therapy at Mount St. Mary’s University, Los Angeles. He furthered his training through the completion of both a residency and fellowship program and is nationally recognized as an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS). Along with his extensive physical therapy background, Isaac is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and an EXOS Certified Performance Specialist (XPS), which qualifies him to help athletes of all ages to develop and achieve high-level performance-based goals that extend beyond traditional rehabilitation. He is also certified in Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT) and Dry Needling (DN) through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. He is passionate about bridging the gap between rehab and performance and has experience working with professional athletes in the NBA, English Premier League, and AVP Beach Volleyball. In his free time, Isaac enjoys playing guitar, working out, bouldering, snowboarding, and playing badminton and soccer. He is proud to have completed the LA marathon in 2018 and has also dabbled in CrossFit. He also loves spending time with his wife Rosalyn, his cats Chloe and Miso, and his church family.
Stephen completed his BS in Microbial Biology at UC Berkeley. During that time, he interned with the Cal Sports Medicine team, performing rehab with the Cal Football Team. That opportunity propelled him to USC for his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Currently, he dedicates time to volunteer in the community. He works with a local high school’s cross country and track teams to educate the athletes on injury prevention, as well as at the finish line of the LA marathon annually. In his free time, you can find him rock climbing, running, playing football, or snowboarding.
Celina is a double-graduate from the University of Southern California. At USC, she worked with the Men's and Women’s Water Polo Teams in the USC Athletic Medicine program. In PT school, she served as Class President and received The Order of the Golden Cane Award, the highest honor for USC physical therapy graduates. She is an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Celina grew up swimming competitively and played water polo, so she enjoys treating athletes and patients of all ages. In her free time, Celina loves going to the beach, tending to her house plants, supporting her favorite LA sports teams, and trying new food and restaurants.
Alexa grew up in southern California and received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, option athletic training from the University of California, Long Beach. Alexa worked for many years as a high school athletic trainer, working with the various sports teams on campus. Alexa returned to the University of California, Long Beach to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While in PT school, Alexa had worked as a per diem athletic trainer for CSULB covering water polo, tennis, and beach volleyball. Alexa is certified in ASTYM. Outside of work, Alexa enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, going to the beach and learning more about PT.
Dalton was born and raised in Torrance, California and received his BS in Exercise Science at California State University Long Beach, then went on to Physical Therapy School at California State University Long Beach. While at the Beach, he did clinical work throughout Los Angeles in varied settings, including work with Division 1 athletes. He is pursuing his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Dalton’s hobbies include weightlifting, playing piano, reading, and attending trivia competitions.
Tim completed his BA in Psychology and played baseball at Pomona College in Claremont, CA. He went on to get his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California, and then completed the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency. He is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in Physical Therapy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and certified in Blood Flow Restriction rehabilitation. Tim’s hobbies include baseball, beach going, watching movies and spending time with his dog.
Liz was born on the east coast in Brooklyn, NY and was raised and grew up on the west coast in San Diego, CA. She went to college for her undergraduate at Humboldt State University then went on to become a licensed massage therapist, which lead her to the world of physical therapy and rehabilitation. Liz then went on to get her Physical Therapist Assistant license studying at San Diego Mesa College. During her studies, she continued her work as a professional massage therapist at a hospital-based outpatient physical therapy clinic. Liz believes in treating the whole person and meeting them where they are in their recovery to achieve the best possible outcome. Her hobbies include hot yoga, long barefoot runs on the beach, swimming, watching college basketball and football, going out to eat, and just hanging out and catching up with her friends and family.
Theresa is a South Bay and San Pedro native. She completed her BS in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and Dance Minor at the University of Southern California and continued at USC to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree. During her time in PT school, she was able to travel to Mexico and Costa Rica to assist the local communities with physical therapy services. Theresa is also a graduate of the Orthopedic Residency at Glendale Adventist Health Therapy and Wellness Center and she is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). She is passionate about working with athletes and performing artists, especially dancers, and is a member of Doctors for Dancers. In her free time, Theresa enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and watching her favorite TV shows.
Occupational Therapy
The BCO Hand Therapy Department specializes in the evaluation and treatment of various injuries to the elbow, forearm, wrist, hand, and fingers. Our service is tailored to help individuals regain or improve the functional use of their hands for work and home daily activities. We believe that constant physician-therapist communication leads to better patient care and results, thus our surgeons and therapists work close together as a team to assist in the rehabilitation process.
Nicole is an LA native who graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology. After living abroad in Seoul, South Korea to travel and teach, she moved back home to complete her Master’s and Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at USC. Her doctoral residency focus was in pedagogy at the USC Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy working directly with faculty and students to research and apply best practices in shaping the learning experience as a whole. She is currently in pursuit of her Certified Hand Therapist certification and loves to connect with patients through dialogue and healing. Her favorite occupations include traveling, hiking, Pilates, perusing all things beauty and fashion, and spending time with her cat, Dolly.
